Dominic Smales and Simon Goodman are launching GloMotion Studios, described as an audience led entertainment creator studio.

GloMotion Studios officially launches today and has appointed digital branded content and marketing expert Chris Davis as commercial director.

The studio will package top creators with brands to develop, produce and distribute entertainment at scale across streaming, social, and digital platforms.

Smales is best known as the founder and former CEO of digital talent agency Gleam Futures, which represented stars such as Zoella, Alfie Deyes, and Mrs Hinch.

“I’ve seen first-hand how powerful the creator economy can be when done right. With GloMotion Studios, we’re taking that understanding and applying it to produce content that both entertains and drives real results for brands and creators,” said Smales.

GloMotion Studios is designed to tackle the evolving demands of the creator economy, which now includes more than 300 million creators worldwide.

“We’re seeing creators like The Sidemen and Mr Beast achieve unparalleled success because they make entertaining their audiences their priority,” says Simon Goodman, co-founder of GloMotion Studios and an award-winning, BAFTA-nominated showrunner and director.

“GloMotion Studios elevates both brands and creators, putting them at the heart of original premium entertainment that people actually want to watch.”

Davis previously built and scaled Gleam Solutions, the in-house influencer marketing division at Gleam Futures, and has held leadership roles at Fanbytes and DailyMail.com.
