Eccho Rights finds CEE buyers for Turkish dramas

Turkish drama I Am Mother

NEWS BRIEF: Hungary’s MTVA and Georgia’s Imedi have both picked up Turkish drama I Am Mother (O3 Medya for Show TV), about a woman forced to rebuild her life after a devastating betrayal.

The deal was announced by distributor Eccho Rights, which also revealed further sales of Turkish scripted dramas. Slovakian streamer Voyo has acquired Golden Boy (OGM Pictures for Star TV), while Ukraine’s female-skewing channel Bigudi has bought melodrama Cennet (Surec Film for ATV), about a young woman abandoned at birth who returns to confront the powerful family that cast her aside.
