Duo Media Networks strikes cooperation deal with Go3 covering Baltics

Estonia-based Duo Media Networks and Go3 have signed a long-term cooperation agreement covering the distribution of linear and non-linear content across the Baltic states.

The deal will bring Duo One, Duo Media’s non-linear streaming service, to more than 600,000 households and over one million viewers across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Alongside Duo One’s slate of international series, children’s content and other entertainment, Go3 customers will also gain access to Duo Media Networks’ portfolio of 13 television channels in Estonia and 10 channels in Latvia and Lithuania.

Duo One is designed to complement the company’s existing TV services by giving viewers on-demand access to entertainment, bringing together international series, children’s content, true crime titles and other programming from major global studios.

All content will be available in local languages and adapted to each Baltic market, with Estonian audiences receiving subtitled content, while Latvian and Lithuanian audiences getting programmes dubbed into local languages. Duo Media said this makes it the only company in the region localising streaming content at this scale.

Content is sourced through partnerships with studios including Disney, NBCUniversal, Lionsgate and Paramount. The current line-up includes The Office, Homeland, Kill Jackie, What We Do in the Shadows and The Killing. Later this year the service will add further titles including FBI, NCIS, Mobland, Landman, Elsbeth, NCIS: Origins, Dexter: Original Sin and CIA.
