CBS re-teams with US Ghosts showrunners as vampire comedy goes to series

CBS has taken a comedy pilot from the showrunners of the US version of Ghosts to series but passed on another show.

CBS has ordered Eternally Yours to series but will not be moving ahead with The Tillbrooks (fka Regency).

Single-camera vampire comedy Eternally Yours stars Ed Weeks and Allegra Edwards and comes from Ghosts’ Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, and CBS Studios.

With a similar supernatural feel to their US version of the hit BBC comedy, Eternally Yours follows two vampires who have been married for 500 years and their struggles to accept the human who is dating their daughter.

It will be filmed in the same Montreal location as the US Ghosts and comes as CBS prepares to reveal its 2026/27 schedule next week.

The schedule will not feature The Tillbrooks, the multi-camera sitcom from Tara Hernandez and Warner Bros TV starring Kate Walsh and Rhys Darby, which the US network piloted but has decided not to go forward with.
