Today we hear from Adhrucia Apana, founding partner at Curiosity Entertainment, and Leif Lillehaugen, partner and head of development, about how the LA-based company is bringing top-tier American talent to projects financed primarily outside the US.

Launched just before the onset of the pandemic, LA-based development and production company Curiosity Entertainment currently has five TV shows and two feature films in the works.

The first of those is the eight-part drama Europe by Train from Ozark co-creator and executive producer Mark Williams. RTL-owned Dutch streamer Videoland has boarded the project, which is a coproduction between Irish, Dutch, Portuguese and US partners.

Curiosity founding partner Adhrucia Apana and partner and head of development Leif Lillehaugen spoke to Jordan Pinto about their upcoming slate, working in collaboration with sister financing company Curiosity Media Finance, and operating outside the traditional studio financing model.
