NEWS BRIEF: Canada’s Boat Rocker Studios has confirmed a second 52×11’ season of animated kids’ series Dino Ranch: Island Explorers, with pubcaster the CBC, Radio-Canada and Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) on board as broadcast partners.

Dino Ranch: Island Explorers, whose first season debuted on the CBC last year, is a spin-off from original series Dino Ranch, which aired from 2021 to 2024. The franchise was created by Industrial Brothers co-founder Matthew Fernandes and is produced by his prodco and parent company Boat Rocker Studios. S1 will air on WBD’s Cartoonito channel across EMEA this fall, while the French version will launch on Radio-Canada’s platforms next month. In the US, S1 debuted on Amazon Kids+ earlier this year. WBD’s Cartoonito has also acquired S1 and S2 of the original Dino Ranch series.
