Big Media to distribute three scripted projects from UK outfit Ida Rose

New York-based producer and distributor Big Media has signed a deal to represent three scripted projects from UK prodco Ida Rose.

Music drama series The Underground (6×60’), which is about a singer and rapper returning to the spotlight, is directed by Sheridan De Myers, Ashley Chin, Ethosheia Hylton and writers Fredi ‘Kruga’ Nwaka and Shantelle Rochester. Adrian Scott is also among the writers.

Meanwhile, Doors (6×60’), based on the true story of the murder of Camille Gordon outside a London club in 2004, has been created by Rochester and written by Scott alongside Gary Young.

Under the deal, Big Media will also act as a coproduction partner for Doors, which is executive produced by Kwame Kwei-Armah.

Finally, Stolen (1×90’) is an action thriller feature film that follows a woman who must use her military skills to unearth the truth about her daughter’s disappearance in South Africa.
