Banijay’s Little Dot unveils HyperLaunch tool to speed up YouTube output

Little Dot Studios, which recently became part of Banijay Entertainment after the latter’s merger with fellow production and distribution group All3Media, has launched a new tool to help broadcasters and distributors rapidly scale up their YouTube output.

HyperLaunch, which is also available to sports rights holders, brands and content owners, has been created to help third parties maximise returns by increasing upload speeds to YouTube by 90%.

Little Dot said the tech solves one of the biggest commercial challenges facing media companies today by rapidly turning deep video archives into highly profitable digital inventory.

The launch marks the formal introduction of Little Dot OS (Optimisation Sidekicks). Developed entirely in-house, Little Dot OS uses the company’s 13-plus years of expertise managing over 1,000 YouTube channels for more than 600 global partners.

Over the past decade, the company claims to have delivered over US$500m in revenue for its partners.

“With HyperLaunch, partners now stand to, on average, triple their historical returns by efficiently monetising vast content archives that were previously too complex or costly to exploit,” Little Dot said.

Already deployed across Little Dot Studios’ owned-and-operated network of more than 135 channels, HyperLaunch has distributed over 21,500 hours of content on YouTube so far in 2026.

Little Dot said the platform uses operational AI and automated workflows to “ingest, analyse and distribute” large volumes of video content, “drastically reducing” preparation time while integrating complex rights management and maintaining human oversight throughout.

The launch comes as broadcasters and distributors increasingly focus on YouTube as it becomes the fastest-growing platform in the media and marketing mix, with content owners increasingly prioritising direct audience relationships and long-term IP monetisation.

Founded in 2013, Little Dot Studios has offices in the UK, US, Germany, Australia and New Zealand. All3Media acquired a majority stake in the company in 2018, before taking full ownership in 2021.

The mega-merger between Banijay Entertainment and All3Media concluded a week ago, creating one of the world’s biggest independent content businesses.

Dan Jones, CEO of Little Dot Studios, said: “For many partners, the challenge isn’t a lack of content, it’s the complexity and speed required to effectively monetise archives across YouTube.

“HyperLaunch dramatically reduces time to market, allowing partners to average tripling what they used to make by unlocking long-term value from their IP that simply wasn’t commercially viable before.

“By automating the heavy operational lifting, we increase inventory and returns faster, while freeing up our teams to focus on the human side of audience growth: building communities and driving fandoms.”
