Autentic Distribution adds two to sales team, focuses on investment

German sales house Autentic Distribution has made two hires for its sales team as it shifts its strategy towards investing in more content.

As acquisitions manager, Angelika Stebbings will be responsible for the international acquisition of high-end documentaries and factual series for the company’s sales catalogue. She is the contact for all producers who are looking for a distribution partner for their productions in all stages.

Stebbings brings experience in both acquisitions and sales of all genres at KirchMedia, EM Entertainment, YEP TV and Mainstream Media.

In addition, former Studio Hamburg employee Birte Zywko was appointed international sales manager last month. Zywko is responsible for all sales into France, Benelux, the Nordics, the UK, Spain, Portugal, Latin America and North America. She brings more than 20 years of expertise in international sales of non-fictional content.

The appointments come as Autentic looks to strengthen its expertise in sourcing, curating and financing factual content.
