UK’s Creative Cities Convention heads to Glasgow

Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall

NEWS BRIEF: Glasgow has been chosen to host the UK’s next Creative Cities Convention (CCC), which will take place on May 19-20, 2027 at the Scottish city’s Royal Concert Hall, with the non-profit event expanding to two full days for the first time.

CCC, which travels to a different UK city each year, has previously been held in Leeds, Cardiff, Birmingham, Newcastle, Bristol, Bradford and Liverpool. It was due to be held in Glasgow in 2020 but was postponed due to the pandemic and went online-only in 2021. It brings together people who make and distribute film, TV and digital content outside London.
