Inbetweeners Joe Thomas and James Buckley go from Boys to Men with Channel 4

UK pubcaster Channel 4 has ordered a travelogue series with two of the stars of hit comedy series The Inbetweeners, Joe Thomas and James Buckley.

Joe & James: Boys to Men (working title) follows the two actors on a road trip, where they go on funny and unconventional adventures and explore how to – and not to be – a grown-up.

With Thomas recently entering his 40s and Buckley soon to follow suit, the pair embark on a journey to figure out what’s acceptable for them to be doing at midlife. Who should and shouldn’t they be hanging out with and where can and can’t they go?

The four-part series is coproduced by Idle Industries and Fudge Park. Idle Industries’ founder Will Macdonald exec produces with Fudge Park’s co-founder Damon Beesley, who co-created The Inbetweeners.
