ABC Kids puts on PJ Masks in Oz

PJ Masks is adapted from a book series by Romuald Racioppo

Australian broadcaster ABC Kids has picked up Entertainment One (eOne) animated series PJ Masks.

ABC Kids will be the preschool show’s free-to-air broadcaster in Australia, beginning next month. The programme has aired on pay TV in Australia via Disney Junior since March 2016.

PJ Masks is adapted from French author Romuald Racioppo’s picturebook series Les Pyjamasques and follows the exploits of a group of young friends who transform into superheroes when they put on their pyjamas.

It is produced by eOne and eOne Family MD Oliver Dumont’s kids’ company Frog Box, in collaboration with Disney Junior and France 5. It was commissioned for a second season last year.
