Drunk History is among the series available on Paramount+

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has brought its Paramount-branded SVoD service to Hungary, marking its second launch in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

The service initially launched in Poland in October with mobile operator Play and cable TV distributor Toya, under the name ParamountPlay.

In Hungary, it will be known as Paramount+, as it is in the Nordics. It will carry movies, series and branded TV content from Paramount Pictures, Comedy Central and MTV. In CEE, it also includes Nickelodeon, Nick Jr and Spike content.

Titles available at launch include movies Transformers, Forrest Gump and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and series Catfish, Drunk History, Bellator, SpongeBob Squarepants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, School of Rock and Paw Patrol.

It will be available to customers of Magyar Telekom as part of the network operator’s Moziklub VoD platform. The service is also available through Magyar Telekom’s set-top boxes plus its OTT subscription VoD platform and app, TV GO.
