Next month’s TCCF market in Taiwan looks set to be a cosmopolitan affair as national pavilions from South Korea and France, as well as major delegations from Thailand, Hong Kong and the Philippines boost the event’s global profile to 51 international exhibitors.

This year’s Taiwan Creative Content Fest is a sell-out

The Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) has sold out all available booth space for its 2025 market, with 118 organisations and companies securing 112 booths across the event, both representing new records for the Taipei-based content marketplace. The event, organised by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), takes place at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre from November 4-7.

This year’s TCCF Market sold out on its first day of registration, according to TAICCA, reflecting growing international interest in the event as a platform for content collaboration. South Korea and France will each present dedicated national pavilions for the first time, while official agencies and media companies from Thailand, the Philippines and Hong Kong make their debuts at the market.

The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) is organising the Korea Pavilion, described as a national team showcase featuring two major public broadcasters, KBS and MBC, alongside KT Studiogenie, a unit of telecom operator KT; Studio S, a subsidiary of media group SBS; and Kang Contents, which specialises in K-pop productions. The Gyeonggi Content Agency, which signed a memorandum of understanding with TAICCA in 2024, will bring content companies and investors from the Gyeonggi region of Korea to Taiwan.

The France Pavilion, jointly organised by Institut Français and Business France, brings together 10 companies spanning film, animation and immersive content. The pavilion will host industry presentations and networking events, with representatives from Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée, Bpifrance and Series Mania seeking cross-border collaboration opportunities with Taiwanese industries.

Among first-time participants, Thailand’s government-established Creative Economy Agency is seeking partnership opportunities with Taiwanese content creators and enterprises, while the Philippines’ Centre for International Trade Expositions & Missions, an arm of the Philippine Department of Trade & Industry, aims to promote Filipino film and creative content to boost global visibility. Two Hong Kong media companies – Regentact, specialising in Asian content distribution and coproductions, and Cheers Media, known for its programme distribution experience – further expand TCCF’s international collaboration network.

The market line-up comprises 51 international exhibitors from France, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and Hong Kong, alongside 67 Taiwanese companies, covering industries ranging from film and television to animation, publishing, comics, performing arts and gaming.

Taiwan’s Animation & Visual Effects Association will debut the Animation and Visual Technologies Zone, where 14 Taiwanese animation companies will jointly present the capabilities of Taiwan’s animation and visual effects industry. The comprehensive platform enables international buyers and partners to understand the complete service chain from pre-production to post-production and distribution, helping Taiwanese companies secure cross-border projects and commissioned works whilst enhancing Taiwan’s visibility within the global content supply chain.

The Production Resource Zone comprises film commissions and shooting support centres from eight major cities and counties, including Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Nantou, Chiayi, Tainan and Kaohsiung. These organisations will showcase diverse filming locations and production services, promoting Taiwan’s resources to international crews through joint promotional events that present Taiwan’s landscapes and professional one-stop services while actively pursuing international co-production opportunities.

TAICCA chair Sue Wang noted that the record-breaking level of international participation at this year’s TCCF demonstrates the global market’s strong interest in Taiwan’s creative content industry. “I hope that TCCF will continue to allow outstanding works and creators to be seen by the international market, fuelling overall industry growth and becoming a key driving force in advancing Taiwan’s creative content on to the world stage,” she said.

The TCCF has evolved significantly since its inception, establishing itself as a major annual event in the Asian content industry. The 2025 edition features three main sections: TCCF Pitching, which showcases promising content proposals from the global market divided into Project and Story segments; TCCF Market, the marketplace component; and TCCF Forum, offering industry discussions and networking opportunities. The Pitching section received nearly 700 submissions from 44 countries this year, with 94 projects selected across various categories including feature films, series, animation, documentaries, and published works suitable for adaptation.
