Series Mania opens for pitch submissions

Series Mania Forum will take place next March in Lille

French drama festival Series Mania has issued a call for projects for the 2019 edition of its pitching event that will see 16 projects presented in front of TV decision makers.

Series Mania Forum will take place between March 25 and 27, 2019 in Lille, France, having held its first edition there this year after making the move from Paris.

Producers have until January 9 to submit their projects for the Forum’s annual copro pitching sessions, which will be watched by coproducers, distributors, financiers and TV channel representatives.

As in the past two years, one project presented during the copro pitching sessions will be awarded a €50,000 (US$57,000) prize, as determined by a professional jury of leading industry executives. Submissions are currently being accepted online, free of charge, here.

The Swedish project We Got This, from Banijay Group-owned Swedish prodco Jarowskij, won last year’s pitch.
