Trust Nobody
 
The characters are facing the threat of a major environmental disaster. However, even in a hopeless situation, there is always a choice: either to take it as it comes and ‘drown’ or do everything possible to save yourself and those around you.

The events take place in the small town of Novi Plavni. It is at risk of flooding due to abnormally heavy and prolonged downpours. In addition, repairs to the dam at the local hydroelectric power plant has been delayed, while dangerous chemicals are stored at the fertilizer factory. If the dam breaks, they could come into contact with the water.

Local people understand the full extent of the possible tragedy but do nothing. They hope the mayor or local officials will solve their problem. And yet everyone understands the salvation of those who could drown is in their hands.

Two locals have to deal with troubles in their personal lives in addition to the natural and social problems facing the city. Teacher Maryna Konovalyuk once believed in the sincerity of a married man and because of this she was involved in a scandal. In addition, she is suspected of killing her rival. And policeman Oleksiy Tryashchenko found himself in the province because of serious misconduct.
