Don’t miss the Cineflix Rights premiere of Whitstable Pearl (6×45’) and Manayek (10×45’).
Whitstable Pearl is a gripping crime procedural series like no other: fresh, witty, tasty, sometimes romantic, and frequently deadly…
The beautiful English seaside town of Whitstable is home to Pearl Nolan who divides her time between serving up tasty seafood delicacies in her restaurant and solving the crimes, debauchery, and murder regularly brought in by the tide.
Julie Wassmer’s much-loved novels are brought to the screen for the first time by iconic Norwegian filmmaker Øystein Karlsen (Exit, Dag, Lilyhammer) and the award-winning producers of hit detective series Marcella. The series stars Kerry Godliman (Derek, After Life) and Howard Charles (The Three Musketeers, Alex Rider).
With a riveting multi-layered plot, Manayek is a sophisticated Israeli crime thriller that reveals a dark underworld seething beneath the veneer of law enforcement. Investigator Izzy Bachar stumbles upon a police corruption case where the prime suspect is his best friend. On the surface, Barak Harel is a decorated officer, but as Izzy digs deeper, the two veteran cops find themselves on opposite sides of the law – locked in a ruthless game of cat-and-mouse. Directed by Alon Zingman (Shtisel), and written and created by Roy Iddan (Kfula), the drama stars Shalom Assayag (Kfula), alongside Amos Tamam (The Spy) and Liraz Chamami (Mossad 101).
