The Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC) is a Quebec government agency founded in 1995 and the result of the fusion of two governmental agencies : Société générale des industries culturelles (SOGIC) and the Institut québécois du cinéma.

As a cultural enterprise development organization, SODEC is mandated to promote and support the development of Québec cultural industry at home and abroad. It supports companies working in film and television production, music and show industry, books, crafts, the art market and the digital sector. SODEC is instrumental in making businesses more competitive by fostering the export and distribution of their works.
