Zed hires BBC Studios’ Lucas Meurin for sales in France, sub-Saharan Africa

French factual indie Zed has hired BBC Studios exec Lucas Meurin as sales manager for France and sub-Saharan Africa.

Meurin has over eight years of experience in audiovisual distribution. He began his distribution career at Canal+ International in 2017, before joining Great Point Media in London, where he progressed from sales team assistant to senior commercial associate.

In 2023, Meurin moved to BBC Studios, first as international acquisitions manager and then as business development manager.

Prior to working in distribution, Meurin worked in production for companies in the UK including Warp Films.

The addition of Meurin takes Zed’s distribution team to nine people.
