Weigel Broadcasting gets more Hearst Media content in expanded deal

Chicago-based Weigel Broadcasting has expanded its partnership with New York-based unscripted producer-distributor Hearst Media Production Group (HMPG).

The expanded partnership will see HMPG provide more programming to Weigel Broadcasting’s multicast networks in 2026.

This month Weigel Broadcasting’s Start TV network began airing HMPG series Journey with Dylan Dreyer and Recipe Rehab with Evette Rios.

Weigel Broadcasting’s Heroes & Icons and Catchy Comedy networks will add HMPG shows starting from April and July, respectively.

All programmes will run during weekend educational/informational time blocks. HMPG will also continue to provide programming for Dabl’s three-hour Sunday morning educational/informational line-up.

The Start TV, Heroes & Icons, Catchy Comedy and Dabl networks are available in most TV markets across the US.
