Whose Line Is It Anyway? airs on The CW

Multi-channel broadcaster UKTV has picked up the US version of comedy improvisation show Whose Line Is It Anyway? for its Dave channel.

The broadcaster has picked up 50 episodes of the series, which airs on The CW in the US, from distributor Hat Trick International (HTI).

Whose Line Is It Anyway? will take a primetime slot in February. HTI senior sales exec Cassandra Toller and UKTV’s global acquisitions manager Daniel Thomas brokered the deal.

In related news, HTI has sold Dave’s original comedy show Hypothetical (22×60’) to BBC Studios channels in Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. It has also been aired on pubcasters SBS in Australia and TVNZ in New Zealand.
