TVP, Rabbit Films to put on Watch!

Polish broadcaster TVP and Finnish production outfit Rabbit Films have acquired gameshow format Watch! from Canada’s Media Ranch.

Watch! mixes performances with a high stakes gameshow requiring memory skills.

The latest acquisitions of the format by TVP and Rabbit Films take the total number of countries in which it is licensed to 12.

Last year Watch! was acquired by Banijay Group’s Bunim/Murray Productions for the US, while also being picked up by RDF/Fizz for the UK, Warner for Denmark, ITV for Sweden, Endemol Shine Group for Italy, Spain and Portugal, Talpa for Germany, WeMake for France and NBCUniversal’s Matchbox Pictures for Australia.

Meanwhile, Media Ranch has appointed Philip Livingstone as flying creative producer for all global iterations of the series.

Livingstone is MD of Format Focus and a former exec director of worldwide formats at Sony Pictures Entertainment. He has worked on shows including Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Shark Tank, Pyramid Game and Little Big Shots.
