Anna Fricke started her career writing for Dawson’s Creek and is best known for adapting UK drama Being Human for US audiences.

With her latest series Walker, launching today on The CW, she spoke to Michael Pickard about rebooting Chuck Norris’s 90s action crime drama Walker, Texas Ranger alongside star and exec producer Jared Padalecki. She also discussed life as a showrunner during the pandemic.

NENT Studios UK’s first original scripted drama, psychological thriller Close to Me, was filmed in the eye of the Covid-19 crisis – one of the first UK productions to begin shooting after the first lockdown in spring 2020.

Executive producer Gina Carter and director Michael Samuels spoke to Michael Pickard about the challenges they faced on the Viaplay and Channel 4 series and the lessons they plan to take to future projects.
