The History Channel creates digital shortform series sponsored by Ancestry

US cablenet The History Channel has launched a digital shortform series featuring presidential historian and author Doris Kearns Goodwin and sponsored by family history site Ancestry.

Command Decisions: Presidents on the Brink sees Kearns Goodwin guide viewers through defining presidential decisions that shaped US history. The 6×8’-10’ series is available now on History.com and History’s YouTube channel.

It is the first shortform series to premiere under A+E Global Media’s new digital division, which launched earlier this year and is led by Ann McGowan.

It is produced by A+E Digital in collaboration with Pastime Productions. Ted Butler exec produces.
