Telstra-owned Fetch TV revamps exec team, reports 20% subscription growth

Telstra-owned Australian IPTV service Fetch TV has revamped its executive leadership team under recently promoted CEO Dominic Arena.

Eileen Khor

Arena was appointed chief in June last year following the departure of founding CEO Scott Lorson, who held the position for 15 years, and Telstra taking majority control of the content platform.

In December, two more long-serving executives exited the business, chief content officer Sam Hall and marketing director Sue Brenchley, who drove much of the company’s content acquisition strategy.

Under the new leadership structure, former Endemol exec Eileen Khor takes on the newly created role of executive director, brand, product marketing and creative design, while Israel Sage-Pickin takes the new position of GM sales & channels.

Fernie Jasmine Abdul Ghani joins Fetch as chief customer officer, leading brand, marketing, communications, customer insights, and support. The company’s former CFO Sarah Alder takes the newly created role of chief revenue officer, with Caitlin Cottam promoted from within the team to CFO.

The revamped organisational structure is part of the Fetch 2.0, five- year company growth strategy, which is targeting 3 million users and installation in 1 million households by 2030.

Fetch also reported a 20% subscriber growth in the first half of full year 2024, with a current installed base of 715,000 Australian households.

Arena said, “Fetch 2.0 is fundamentally about growing scale and profitability through optimisation of the core home entertainment platform business. We’re investing in top-tier talent to capitalise on our current installed base and drive future growth.”
