TBS grows US team by bringing in Rina Yano

NEWS BRIEF: Japanese broadcaster TBS has named Rina Yano as its head of business and legal affairs in the US as it continues to grow its operations stateside.

The exec, who was most recently the senior VP of business and legal affairs at faith-based studio Wonder Project, arrives as the company continues to build out its US team, with recent arrivals including format specialist Elwin De Groot and Shuji Maeda, the latter of whom relocated from Tokyo. In addition to Wonder Project, Yano previously did stints at Westbrook, KIN, Warner Bros and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
