Serial Maven takes global distribution rights to The County

NEWS BRIEF: Toronto-based studio and distribution company Serial Maven Studios has picked up the worldwide distribution rights to Canadian lifestyle docuseries The County (10×60′), produced by RTR Media for Canadian cable network HGTV.

The show follows interior designer Sarah Keenleyside as she swaps city life for the country with the launch of a new design firm while restoring her own 1860s Victorian farmhouse in Prince Edward County, Ontario. The series is expected to debut on HGTV, which is owned by Rogers Sports & Media, later this year.
