Romanian nets bag four Turkish dramas from Inter Medya

NEWS BRIEF: CME-owned Romanian free-to-air broadcaster Pro TV has acquired a pair of Turkish dramas – The Trusted (originally airing on ATV) and Scorpion (Star TV) – from Istanbul-based Inter Medya.

The distributor has also inked a licence deal with Turkish net Kanal D’s Romanian network for two other dramas: Last Summer (Fox TV) and Ramo (Show TV). “Romania is one of the countries where Turkish dramas and feature films are huge phenomena,” commented Can Okan, founder and CEO of Inter Medya.
