Radial Entertainment revives A Haunting after New Dominion Pictures acquisition

A Haunting is due for delivery in September next year

LA-based Radial Entertainment is reviving paranormal docudrama A Haunting, which it acquired with its New Dominion Pictures library purchase earlier this year.

A Haunting originally ran for 11 seasons until 2022, moving from Discovery Channel to Destination America, then TLC and finally Travel Channel.

The new season will comprise 16 episodes and will be produced with US indie Jupiter Entertainment for delivery in September 2027. It will premiere exclusively on Radial’s Paranormal Chronicles channel in select territories.

This is the second franchise revival since the Radial-New Dominion deal, after the company said in June it would revive true crime series The FBI Files.

David Buoymaster, chief investment officer at Radial, said: “A Haunting is exactly the kind of enduring franchise we are building around at Radial: recognisable, proven programming with a passionate audience and meaningful room to grow.

“By pairing owned IP with an experienced production partner and a modern creative approach, we can deliver new episodes that feel true to the series while expanding its value for audiences and platforms around the world.”

Jupiter president Patrick Reardon added: “As we continue to see with our long-running franchises like Snapped and Fatal Attraction, audiences are hungry for high-volume repeatable series in the crime and supernatural space.”
