Polsat commissions Banijay format SAS: Who Dares Wins for Poland

SAS: Who Dares Wins, known locally as Siły Specjalne Polska

Polish network Polsat has commissioned a local version of Banijay format SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Known locally as Siły Specjalne Polska, the Polish version will be produced by Endemol Shine Poland and marks the tenth version of the format.

The show was originally created by Minnow Films for Channel 4 in the UK in 2015 and sees participants undertake a unique version of the special forces selection process to discover if they have what is required.

The Polish version will follow the journey of 18 recruits under the leadership of four former members of elite units as they face tasks based on real special forces training.

Banijay Entertainment holds the global distribution rights. The format has been produced in nine other markets, including the UK, US, Australia, and most recently Belgium.

Endemol Shine Poland has over 20 years’ experience producing shows including local adaptations of renowned brands Drag Me Out, Don’t Forget The Lyrics, MasterChef, LEGO Masters, All Together Now, You Can Dance, Money Drop and Big Brother.

In addition, it is behind premium scripted programming such as Our Century for TVP 1, and Squared Love for Netflix.
