PGS, Zagtoon join forces

French distributor and brand manager PGS Entertainment has signed a first-look distribution deal with local kids’ entertainment company Zagtoon.

The first series to come under the three-year agreement is Ghostforce (39×26′), a live-action/animated series about a New York City chemistry teacher who develops a technology capable of capturing and storing ghosts who are terrorising the locals.

PGS already distributes Zagtoon-produced shows such as LadyBug, which has been picked up by a number of international broadcasters and was the most-viewed property at Mip Junior last week, according to PGS.

Zagtoon was founded in 2009 by Jeremy Zag alongside Jacqueline Tordjman, co-founder of The Saban Company, and has created series such as Rosie (78×5′) and Kobushi (104×7′).
