NEWS BRIEF: UK commercial broadcaster ITV has greenlit men’s self-improvement documentary series Sam & Pete: Dying to Look Good for linear channel ITV2 and streamer ITVX.

Produced by Brighton-based prodco Crackit TV (Crime Scene Cleaners), the three-parter sees Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson and The Only Way is Essex favourite Pete Wicks meet men willing to go to any lengths in the pursuit of aesthetic perfection. They will explore trends from looksmaxxing and testosterone boosting to biohacking and cryotherapy, trying some of the practices themselves.
