Czarnecka-Suls has played a key role in bringing hit formats to Poland, including The Voice of Poland, Voice Kids, Voice Senior and Top Model.

She previously served as MD at Polish prodco Rochstar, where she spent over 20 years, and most recently worked as a supervising producer on The Voice franchise in Poland.

At Paprika, she will be responsible for developing the non-fiction production department at Paprika Studios Poland, which is led by MD Kristoffer Rus.

Czarnecka-Suls started at Rochstar in 2002 as an editor, later advancing to executive producer, then supervisor of all productions, up to the position of MD, before deciding to devote more time to novel writing.

Paprika Studios is present in eight countries across CEE and its Polish arm has produced series such as Murderesses for Viaplay and Netflix.

“As head of non-fiction production, my ambition is to create space for entertainment, studio and reality formats that will attract both Polish and international audiences, and to offer a new partner in the Polish television production market that understands both local needs and global trends,” said Czarnecka-Suls.

Akos Erdos, CEO of Paprika Studios Group, said: “Her [Czanecka-Suls’] extensive experience in creating popular television formats perfectly aligns with Paprika Studios’ strategy, which combines local creativity with global experience.

“With our extensive presence across CEE and a portfolio of over 100 entertainment formats produced, we can offer broadcasters a unique combination of international know-how with a deep understanding of local markets.”
