Nick Jr, Five okay Chapman toon

In the UK, Five and Nick Jnr have greenlit the first new toon from Bob the Builder creator Keith Chapman, a copro between Chapman Entertainment and Cosgrove Hall Films.

Fifi & the Flowertots (52×10′) is a preschool stop-frame series that will launch simultaneously on both channels in Spring 2005. Aimed at girls, the show follows an adventurous young girl who inhabits a garden world with her friends.

Chapman Entertainment, backed by the Mark Banwell Partnership, is a new indie recently set up by creative director Chapman, plus md Greg Lynn and commercial director Andrew Haydon.
