Netflix picks GMA Network shows for Philippines

NEWS BRIEF: US-based streamer Netflix has picked up two scripted series from Filipino commercial broadcaster GMA Network for its feed in the Philippines.

The first, action-drama Never Say Die, will stream from October 5. It follows Joey, played by Jillian Ward, whose life becomes intertwined with cynical investigative journalist Andrew, played by Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco. House of Lies, meanwhile, debuts on Netflix on October 19. The story follows two women, played by Beauty Gonzalez and Kris Bernal, as they become enmeshed in a web of deceit and betrayal. Both are produced by GMA Entertainment.
