NBC renews reality trio

NBC in the US has renewed three reality series, including America’s Got Talent and Last Comic Standing, which will enter their 10th and ninth seasons respectively.

Got Talent, which holds the Guinness World Record for “world’s most successful reality TV format,” will return to the network alongside Last Comic Standing, produced by Universal Television and Push It Productions.

Meanwhile, NBC has commissioned a fourth season of American Ninja Warrior, which airs in partnership with Esquire Network in the US.

The series, produced by A Smith & Co Productions, follows competitors as they tackle obstacle courses in both qualifying rounds and city finals around the country.

In related news, NBC has revealed that its new as-yet unnamed sitcom featuring comedy legend Bill Cosby will be created by Mike Sikowitz and Mike O’Malley and will be produced by Sony Pictures Television.
