Moonbug launches third CoComelon spin-off as Nina gets her own show

Candle Media’s LA- and London-based kids company Moonbug Entertainment is launching a third spin-off to its hit series CoComelon, titled Nina.

The new series will centre on the CoComelon character who first appeared on the original show in 2019. Nina comes from a Mexican-American family and will share stories celebrating Mexican culture through her own YouTube channel later this year.

CoComelon’s first spin-off, Cody Time, which launched last May, has reached 2.5 million subscribers on YouTube and will premiere on Netflix next month.

The second spin-off, JJ’s Animal Time, launched last September and in December garnered more than 33 million watch hours on YouTube.
