Marathon rabbits on

MIPCOM NEWS: French broadcaster TF1 has fast-tracked a second season of Marathon Media children’s series Rekkit Rabbit.

A 52×13′ new season will broadcast on TF1 and Disney Channel Europe in early 2011 on the back of a successful first outing, with pre-sales now being sought at Mipcom.

Rekkit Rabbit, which will total 104 episodes, is about a magician’s rabbit who has fled his old life and is learning to deal with his magic powers. It was created by Zodiak Media Group-owned French kids firm Marathon and is distributed worldwide by Zodiak Rights.
