NEWS BRIEF: Paramount-owned Channel 5 in the UK and AMC Networks-owned streamer Acorn TV have ordered a fourth season, including a Christmas special, of crime drama The Madame Blanc Mysteries (7×60’), coproduced by Clapperboard and Saffron Cherry Productions.

Acorn Media Enterprises is on board as coproducer and distributor, holding rights outside the UK and Northern Ireland. The series was ordered by Greg Barnett, commissioning editor for Channel 5. S4 will be directed by Dermot Boyd and produced by Jake Rollins, while Mike Benson and Andy Morgan exec produce for Clapperboard alongside Sally Lindsay and Caroline Roberts-Cherry for Saffron Cherry. The special is set to air on Channel 5 and Acorn TV in 2024, with the rest of the season continuing in 2025.
