Love Island USA to return for S9 on Peacock

NEWS BRIEF: American streamer Peacock has ordered a ninth season of Love Island USA, produced by ITV America and hosted by Ariana Madix.

The renewal comes after the eighth instalment, which premiered on the Comcast-owned streamer on June 2, racked up 19 billion minutes of viewing time, according to Peacock. In addition to Love Island USA, Peacock has also, as previously announced, commissioned third seasons of franchise extensions Love Island: Beyond the Villa and Love Island Games. ITV America produces the US version of the show in association with Lifted Entertainment and Motion Entertainment.
