Indian animator Digitoonz names Citrus Ink’s founder Vrinda Sood as VP

Indian animation studio Digitoonz Media & Entertainment has appointed Vrinda Sood as vice president.

In her new role, Sood will drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding the studio’s client base and forging strategic partnerships, while continuing to serve as CEO of Citrus Ink Studios.

Sood brings more than a decade of experience across advertising, branded content, OTT animation shows, TV series and feature films, spanning both animation and VFX.

Sood founded boutique outfit Citrus Ink Studios and built it up through partnerships with brands such as Coca-Cola, Hector Beverages and Thums Up with Ogilvy & Mather.

Last December, Citrus Ink and Digitoonz entered into a strategic partnership to launch DGX, a joint venture dedicated to VFX, animation and gaming services.
