Genie TV and Disney+’s Tell Me That You Love Me

NEWS BRIEF: South Korean telecoms company KT’s streaming service Genie TV and Disney+ in Japan are launching a South Korean version of 90s drama series Tell Me That You Love Me from Japanese broadcaster TBS.

Tell Me That You Love Me follows an aspiring young actress who falls in love with a deaf painter and the original aired on TBS in 1995. The South Korean remake will launch on Genie TV and Disney+ Japan next Monday. Kim Min-jung wrote the screenplay of the 16-episode adaptation, which was directed by Kim Yoon-jin and produced by KT’s Studio Genie. In South Korea, it will also air on pay TV channel ENA.
