France’s ZED unveils Ukraine war doc Beyond Darkness

NEWS BRIEF: French distributor and indie producer ZED has partnered with France’s Az You Like Films, Ukraine’s Mainstream Pictures, and Slovak-based United Content Hub to make a war documentary film Beyond Darkness.

Directed by Philippe Azoulay Siritzky, it tells the story of Ukrainian civilians who became members of the Kondor company, specialising in drone warfare. Siritzky obtained access with this unit fighting on the front line in the Donbass, an exceptional immersion giving a glimpse into the daily life of elite soldiers.
