Fox Entertainment Studios signs comedy development pact with Frankie Quiñones

LA-based Fox Entertainment Studios (FES) has signed a development deal with stand-up comedian, writer and actor Frankie Quiñones for a new as-yet untitled comedy.

Frankie Quiñones

Los Angeles-based Quiñones, known for his viral character Creeper and for starring in Hulu comedy series This Fool, will co-write and star in the scripted comedy developed with FES.

His one-hour special Damn That’s Crazy, directed by Ali Wong, was released on Hulu earlier this year.

Quiñones filmed an untitled NBC comedy pilot last year and has recurring roles in St Denis Medical on the network and also FX’s What We Do in the Shadows.

He is also a member of comedy troupe The Dress Up Gang. Their first feature film, Plantman & Blondie: A Dress Up Gang Film, is produced by Fox’s Tideline Entertainment and Mountain Top Pictures and is set to premiere at the 2026 SXSW Film & TV Festival.

Hannah Pillemer, head of scripted at Fox Entertainment Studios, said: “Frankie has a rare ability to ground bold, irreverent comedy in heart and authenticity, and audiences connect to that in a powerful way. We’re excited to partner with Frankie to develop a series that fully showcases his voice and expands his creative footprint in a meaningful way.”
