Fox Entertainment Global’s int’l formats head Nathalie Wogue departs

Fox Entertainment Global (FEG)’s senior VP of global formats Nathalie Wogue is leaving the company, C21 has learned.

Nathalie Wogue

LA-based Wogue was appointed to the position in early 2024, overseeing format sales and acquisitions.

She was hired after serving as an international format strategy consultant for Fox’s in-house unscripted division Fox Alternative Entertainment, where she worked on the international unscripted format fund and helped develop formats such as Beat My Mini-Mes (France/TF1), Celebrity Masterpiece (Thailand/Workpoint), Marriage Market (Germany/ProSieben) and The Big Deal (Ireland/Virgin Media Television).

US-based studio and networks group Fox Entertainment launched FEG, its international sales and distribution division, in late 2022 with a view to creating, owning and controlling more IP.

Unscripted formats are an increasingly important part of that strategy, with FEG’s formats library growing to include new titles such as Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service and survival competition series Extracted.

Wogue’s departure comes as FEG localises its sales efforts, with a greater focus on boots-on-the-ground selling in local markets. C21 understands FEG and Wogue may continue to collaborate in other capacities.

Wogue is held in high regard in the formats world and has a resume spanning over 20 years.

Previously, she was the head of development at Fremantle France, global VP of formats at IMG Entertainment, chief international officer at Endemol France and president of the joint venture between Endemol and Mark Burnett Productions, among other roles.
