LA-based Bowman, who has been Fox’s senior VP of drama programming and development for the past six years, will be responsible for supervising the development and production of new and returning scripted drama series for the network, reporting to Michael Thorn, president of entertainment for Fox Entertainment.

During her time at Fox Entertainment, Bowman has overseen series including The Resident, Lethal Weapon, Prodigal Son, BH90210, Rosewood, Scream Queens and Sleepy Hollow, as well as upcoming series The Cleaning Lady and Monarch.

Prior to joining Fox Entertainment, Bowman spent 12 years at Freeform (formerly ABC Family), most recently as senior VP of development and programming. During that time, she oversaw shows including Baby Daddy, Shadowhunters, Switched at Birth, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Greek, Bunheads and Young & Hungry.

“Brooke has been an important and trusted part of our team, playing an invaluable role in helping shape and implement our blueprint to expand and diversify Fox’s slate,” said Thorn.

“Supremely creative, well-respected across town and fearless in taking big swings, she is primed to take over the reins, and I’m excited to have her alongside as we steer our drama strategy well into the future.”
