Fox bags Bowman for drama

Fox in the US has appointed a former Buena Vista and ABC exec as its VP of drama programming and development.

Brooke Bowman will oversee development and production of new and returning shows, based in LA and reporting to Terence Carter, Fox’s exec VP of drama.

Bowman was most recently senior VP of development and programming at Freeform (fka ABC Family) and before that worked for Buena Vista Productions. She has worked on shows including Switched at Birth, Greek and Make It or Break It.

She replaces replace James Oh, who joined Jerry Bruckheimer TV earlier this year.

Veteran producer Bruckheimer revealed last month that he was not renewing the 15-year exclusive deal between his production outfit and US studio Warner Bros Television.
