Family Tree acquires Brighton post house The Edit

NEWS BRIEF: Family Tree Group, the company behind UK production houses Middlechild Productions, Friday’s Child, Northern Child and Wild Child Studios, has acquired Brighton-based post-production facility The Edit.

The Edit will continue to operate autonomously, with founder Dave Austin taking a non-exec director role alongside the senior management team, post-production exec Claire Hamilton and technical director Sharman Finn. Family Tree is run by CEO David Sumnall.
