Entravision launches Spanish-language news streamer

NEWS BRIEF: US Hispanic media company Entravision, an affiliate group of the Univision and UniMás television networks, has launched a national Spanish-language news streaming platform called Ahora.

Serving US Hispanic audiences, Ahora combines national and local coverage, integrating reporting and content from Miami, Orlando, McAllen, El Paso, Denver, Las Vegas and San Diego. The platform launches with a team of four journalists, who will be accompanied by AI-powered information companion LIA (Latina Inteligencia Artificial). LIA will appear alongside the news anchors, delivering real-time information, weather updates, data visualisations, election results, explainers and other contextual content.
