Ehrlich returns to Fox

Fox has named Gary Ehrlich as president and general manager of its studio operations.

Ehrlich will oversee the Fox Studio Lot in Century City, which is a major full-service facility offering stage, post-production and support space for the film and television industry in LA.

Ehrlich will also manage Fox’s real estate, production services, post-production services, planning, design and development, health and safety, facilities, food services and security functions.

The appointment was made by Michael Biard, president of operations and distribution, to whom Ehrlich will report.

Ehrlich rejoins Fox from Live Nation, where he served as executive VP of physical plants for US concerts.

Earlier, Ehrlich spent three decades at Fox, most recently as executive VP at Fox Sports, where he oversaw Fox’s ownership interests in professional teams and venues, including Dodger Stadium and Staples Center.

In his prior role inside Fox studio operations, Ehrlich was instrumental in the creation of the Fox Studio Master Plan Development agreement with the City of LA to enable the development of the lot into its present form.

Fox’s brands include Fox News Media, Fox Sports, Fox Entertainment and Fox Television Stations.

The new-look news- and sports-focused Fox company emerged last year following Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox’s assets.
